1. Purpose

These Terms define the conditions under which the user may access and use the platform and its forensic analysis services.

2. Service description

Forenlyst provides technical forensic analysis of digital media using specialized models and documented methodologies. Outputs may include technical reports and verifiable certificates.

3. Nature of findings

Findings are technical results based on statistical indicators, forensic markers and confidence scoring. They do not constitute legal advice, a judicial decision or an absolute proof.

Admissibility as evidence depends on the applicable jurisdiction and the competent authority.

4. User obligations

Users agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly.

• Upload only media for which they hold the necessary rights or authorization.
• Not attempt to compromise, bypass or misuse the platform.
• Not use the service for illegal, harmful or fraudulent purposes.

5. Liability

JOYS LAB cannot be held liable for decisions made by users based on reports or certificates, nor for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

The user remains solely responsible for how they use the outputs and for ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

6. Data and confidentiality

Processing of personal data and uploaded media is governed by the Privacy Policy. Uploaded media is handled securely and retained only for the periods defined, unless otherwise required by law or by an enterprise agreement.

7. Availability

JOYS LAB strives to keep the service available, but may suspend access temporarily for maintenance, updates, or security reasons.

8. Changes to the Terms

JOYS LAB may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law.

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, except where mandatory legal provisions apply.
